§16 Bold Punctuation
Standard parenthesis, brackets, braces, and slashes are hairline to contrast with Womprat’s ultra-bold weight.
However, some situations might call for bolder punctuation to match its weight. All of these are enabled automatically when selecting this OpenType feature.
Some additional hairline characters and icons will also receive this treatment with this feature enabled.
Note: Even without this feature enabled, common emoticons will be rendered with bolder punctuation and centered colons. This related functionality is part of Contextual Alternates, which is enabled by default.
